The hockey players of Winnipeg won on the ice of Pittsburgh 4:1 in the night game of the NHL. They confirmed the position of the best team in the competition, after 20 matches they have 34 points. “Penguins” captain Sidney Crosby is still one shot short of the 600-goal goal.

Pittsburgh lost its second straight game and fifth in six. Crosby is the team’s top scorer with 7 goals, although he has only scored one goal in the past eight games.
In the duels against Winnipeg and even before that against Tampa Bay, he did not shoot once and scored a total of four negative points in them. At the beginning of the third period against Winnipeg, he got into a fight with the visitors’ forward Kyle Connor.

The Buffalo hockey players won their second game on the West Coast trip. They followed up their 1-0 victory in Los Angeles with a 3-2 overtime victory on the ice of Anaheim.
Czech striker Jiří Kulich scored the decisive goal. The Sabers were losing 0:2 in the second period, but at the end of the period they scored twice within 50 seconds. Anaheim lost for the first time after three wins.
Buffalo equaled Boston in terms of points, but thanks to a better score, it currently ranks 8th in the Eastern Conference.
