The list of contenders for the title of “Car of the Year 2025 in Europe” has been announced. Dacia Duster is among the models that will compete for the title.
This year, the Car of the Year jury awards the best car globally, but also the best car in Europe. Although we are only at the beginning of August, the Car of the Year jury has already decided on the list of 41 models that will fight for the title of Car of the Year 2025 in Europe.
The jury, made up of 59 automotive journalists from 22 countries, will submit the list of candidates in two voting stages. The first of them decides who will be the seven finalists, and the second will decide the winner of the 2025 European Car of the Year award.
Dacia Duster enters the race for Car of the Year 2025 in Europe
The new generation Dacia Duster is on the initial list of participants, but it will face fierce competition, given the fact that the list includes models such as Citroen C3 and e-C3, Suzuki Swift, Skoda Superb, Renault 5, Kia EV3 or Hyundai Santa Fe .

Cupra Terramar, Dacia Duster, Fiat Grande Panda, Ford Explorer, Ford Tourneo Courier, Hyundai Inster, Hyundai Santa Fe, KGM Torres, Kia EV3, Lexus LBX, Maserati GranTurismo, Maserati Grecale, Mazda CX-80, MG Cyberster, Mini Cooper SE , Mini Countryman, Opel Grandland, Opel Frontera, Polestar 3, Polestar 4, Porsche Macan, Renault 5, Renault Symbioz, Renault Rafale, Škoda Superb, Škoda Kodiaq, Smart #3, Suzuki Swift, Toyota Land Cruiser, Volkswagen Passat, Volkswagen Tiguan , Volvo EX90 and Xpeng G6.
To be eligible, models must be new vehicles on sale now or going on sale by the end of the year and sold in at least five countries in Europe.
