Dacia is the only manufacturer that offers bi-fuel engines on gasoline and natural gas (TNG) in all models (Sandero, Stepway, Logan, Duster and Jogger), and so far they have sold a million vehicles with bi-fuel engines.
Since 2010, Dacia has been offering engines powered by gasoline and liquid petroleum gas, and now it has sold the millionth example of such a vehicle (total in all countries of sale).
The dual-fuel system, which has been called ECO-G100 since 2020, develops a maximum torque of 170 Nm at 2000 rpm and offers numerous advantages:
It is more powerful than the petrol version (by 10 HP and 10 Nm), consumes 10% less fuel and emits 10% less CO2 emissions. Since it emits 90% less fine particles, it can also boast a smaller carbon footprint.
Dacia vehicles are designed in such a way that they can be fitted with a gas drive, whereby the LPG tank installs in the space that is reserved for the spare wheel in other vehicles, which means that it does not affect the capacity of the gas tank or take up space in the trunk.
The ECO-G100 engine is available at an affordable price and brings long-term savings.
The dual-fuel engine works equally well regardless of the type of fuel it uses (TNG or gasoline).
The ECO-G100 engine achieves a record range of up to 1500 km.
