Daedong Hospital (CEO Gwangjae Lee) has introduced ‘Lunit INSIGHT CXR’, an AI solution for chest X-ray image analysis.
It provides a report on the location of abnormalities and the probability of lesions present using big data and AI algorithms for 10 major lung diseases commonly found in chest X-rays, including nodules, consolidation, pneumothorax, and pulmonary fibrosis. It also automatically compares with past images.
Kim Ki-nam, director of the Radiology Center, said on the 22nd, “Lunit Insight can analyze lesions more accurately and efficiently by shortening the interpretation time of radiologists,” adding, “It helps in the early detection of diseases and establishment of treatment plans.”
