Daewon Pharmaceutical successfully concludes product donation campaign ‘Beautiful Day’

(Health Korea News / Chang-yong Lee) Daewon Pharmaceutical announced on the 19th that it successfully concluded ‘Beautiful Day’, a donation event to support the underprivileged by receiving donations of goods from executives and employees.

‘Beautiful Day’, which celebrated its 13th anniversary this year, has been held annually since 2012 by the social organization ‘Beautiful Store’ and Daewon Pharmaceutical in collaboration with the social organization ‘Beautiful Store’ to protect the environment and help the underprivileged in our society through recycling and reuse of resources. It is a social contribution activity.

During the campaign, Daewon Pharmaceutical executives and employees brought various reusable items and collected and donated a total of 956 items, including 380 items of clothing and 315 items of miscellaneous goods. Beautiful Store sold donated items and donated the proceeds to the underprivileged.

This campaign, which started with the purpose of helping low-income neighbors by sharing items that could be of value to others, received a total of 14,000 donated items during 13 rounds. This has the effect of reducing carbon emissions by a total of about 47 tons, and is equivalent to the effect of planting about 17,000 pine trees.

A Daewon Pharmaceutical official said, “Thanks to the warm interest of our executives and employees, various reusable items such as clothing, miscellaneous goods, books, and home appliances were collected.” He added, “We will continue to continue at the company level so that small sharing can lead to greater love.” .
