DAPURPACUID – One of the biggest contributions to the existence of the Daihatsu brand in Indonesia comes from loyal car users who are members of the car community.
They, members of the community of various Daihatsu models, are quite loyal to the Japanese brand. In fact, Daihatsu has embraced 21 car communities from various products.
As a form of appreciation for the Daihatsu car community, familiarly called ‘Friends of the Community’, they are invited to visit the booth at ICE BSD City at the 2024 GIIAS event.
Packaged in the event ‘Daihatsu Collaboration with Community Friends’, dozens of Daihatsu car community members filled the booth and saw the excitement there firsthand.
Domestic Marketing Division Head of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, Rokky Irvayandi, admitted that he was grateful to be able to be part of the consumer journey by providing mobility in their various activities for 46 years in Indonesia.
“We hope that Daihatsu can continue to provide the best for customers, always being a brand that is trusted by the Indonesian people, in line with our tagline Daihatsu Sahabatku,” explained Rokky.
Not only car communities, Daihatsu also began to touch motorcycle clubs as its target consumers. For that, on several occasions they were often invited to enliven the events held.
As was just held in mid-June, where Daihatsu held an event entitled ‘Daihatsu Kumpul Sahabat’ in the Kiara Artha Park area, Bandung, West Java.
Rokky hopes that through the collaboration that has been well established so far, it can continue to be carried out in various positive activities, so that it can contribute to Indonesian society.
Ryan Cayo, General Chairperson of the Calya Sigra Club (CALSIC) said that this community was established in 2016, starting with only around 20 members, now reaching more than 7 thousand members throughout Indonesia with a total of 69 chapters.
He explained that together with Daihatsu, the community he leads consistently carries out positive activities such as education, environmental management, social activities, and various other activities.
“So, in addition to maintaining closer and more solid ties, we together with Daihatsu can also contribute in providing benefits to the Indonesian people,” he added.
Another positive thing was also expressed by Ega Dolay, as the Head of the Jakarta Chapter of HVC (Honda Vario Club), who represents the motorcycle community.
Ega expressed his gratitude to Daihatsu for involving the motorcycle community to collaborate together in various activities so far.
He also explained that the series of activities routinely carried out by the Honda Vario motorcycle user community include meetups, sharing safety riding education, touring, and gatherings.
“Some of these activities have also been carried out with Daihatsu, so that our relationship and networking have become wider. Moreover, the majority of our members are young families, who in the future also want to join and become part of the Daihatsu family,” Ega concluded.
For information, there are 21 car clubs that are communities fostered by Daihatsu, namely AXIC (Avanza Xenia Indonesia Club, DTC (Daihatsu Taruna Club), DAI (Daihatsu Ayla Indonesia), CAI (Club Ayla Indonesia), and CALSIC.
There are also MAXXIO (Gran Max Luxio Indonesia), TO (Taruna Owners), C2W (Classy Charade Winner), ZEC (Daihatsu Zebra Club), Sirionity (Sirion Community), TID (Terios Indonesia), ALERT! (All New Rush Terios Indonesia) and TERUCI (Terios Rush CLUB Indonesia).
Also joining were CCI (Ceria Club Indonesia), DXIC (Daihatsu Xenia Indonesia Club), SIC (Sirion Indonesia Club), YOI (YRV Owner Indonesia), TDI (Taft Diesel Indonesia), SICI (Sigra Club Indonesia), TCI (Terios Club Indonesia) and RR-id (Raize Rocky Indonesia). (dpid/TH)
