It has been said that Apple has been working on a new iPhone SE model for a long time. Although we have previously shared various leaks about the iPhone SE 4, some rumors have begun to circulate about the release date of the model.
According to a South Korean publication (Aju News), Apple is expected to begin mass production soon and the announcement will reportedly be made in March 2025. iPhone SE 3 was announced in 2022, and Aju News stated that iPhone SE 4 will be introduced on a similar date.
The new release report also adds that Apple has partnered with LG Innotek to supply the iPhone SE 4 camera module. Its supplier is expected to start mass production in December. Currently, the company appears to be conducting significant testing before the commercial production phase. LG reportedly supplied camera modules to Apple about three months ahead of the iPhone’s launch. So the date of March 2025 may be confirmed.
Finally, the report added that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a single 48MP camera on the back, which is a significant upgrade over the 12MP camera on its predecessor. It’s worth noting that this is just speculation at this point, so don’t take it for granted. Other notable features include A18 Bionic chipset, larger 3279mAh capacity battery, Apple Intelligence support, Face ID support, 20W wired charging, Qi2 wireless charging and MagSafe charging.
