The daughter of George Copos, the former financier of Rapid, achieved a remarkable performance in an equestrian competition.

The competition was organized in Brașov by the Romanian Equestrian Federation (FER).

Daria Copos (13 years old) obtained a remarkable performance at the competition held in Brașov, managing to finish in 5th place. Horia Butuza (14 years old), the son of businessman Marcel Butuza, known as the “King of the Asphalt” from Brașov, finished one position higher, in 4th place, thanks to the impressive collection of cars he owns.

In May, Daria Copos and Horia Butuza achieved another extraordinary performance. The two, together with the Romanian team, won the Nations Cup in Equestrian, show jumping, at 1.30 m, which took place in Linz (Austria).

Anda Bojita (14 years old) and Ina Bojita (12 years old) were also part of the Romanian team.

It will not happen soon that Romania will achieve such a performance again. And I say this, because in this competition we beat countries like Germany, Italy, Holland, France, Hungary.

I was also a little lucky, but what happened now, here in Linz, is a phenomenon. Phenomenal! It’s incredible.

I’m telling you, it’s quite a feat, because we haven’t had any notable results since 1936.

Then, Henri Rang won the first Olympic medal for Romania, at the Olympic Games in Berlin, in the riding event, obstacles. He won the silver medal.
