David Alonso ends 2024 in style!

With a special design to mark the 35th anniversary of CFMOTO, CFMOTO Aspar Team rider David Alonso wanted to say goodbye to the Moto3 category in the ultimate way.

The world champion won at the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya, putting the stamp on a record season in the lightest category. With this victory, the Colombian achieved his fourteenth victory of the season and broke a new record: he became the only driver in history to win fourteen races in one season in one category.

Alonso started from pole position, but at the start he drove relaxed in the first few laps, finishing in eighth place. The driver of the CFMOTO Aspar team was constantly in the leading group, which numbered up to eighteen drivers. As the laps progressed, Alonso gradually worked his way up to the podium. With two laps to go, the Colombian overtook Dani Holgado and Adrián Fernández to take the lead and claim his seventh straight win.
