Managing Director (MD) of private television Desh TV Arif Hasan has been arrested.
A team of DB arrested him on Saturday night. After that, Arif Hasan was taken to the DB office at Minto Road.
Multiple DB sources confirmed to Dhaka Times that Arif was arrested from his own bus building.
Sources say that Arif Hasan has been arrested in a murder case of the airport police station.
Meanwhile, DB Additional Commissioner Rezaul Karim Mallick told Dhaka Times that he was brought to DB. However, in which case he has been arrested, it should be inquired. I can give details later.
It is to be noted that Arif Hasan has become the newly-elected General Secretary of ATCO, the private television owners’ association.
