Two months after the tragic death of his son Diego, the wife of the former AC Milan player Serginho, Lia Paivalaunched a message on social media against the use of electronic cigarettes, or vapeclaiming that he contributed to the young man’s death.
In a long video posted on Instagram the woman said that “the electronic cigarette is one of the main causes of my son’s death“.

In the video Lia Paiva explains who her son Diego is died of a bacterial infectiondue to a bacterium that started from a pimple on the shoulder and then spread throughout the body.
“His body started to fight it: his kidneys were recovering, his liver was recovering, his heart was recovering,” he says.
But then the situation worsened: “On the sixth day he had a lung collapse and he died.”
According to Serginho’s wife, the 20-year-old’s lungs did not react to the septicemia due to theexcessive use of vape.
“When people tell you not to vape, take it as an important lesson. ‘This stuff kills’, they tell you, and indeed it does this stuff kills“, concludes the woman, throwing away the electronic cigarette she is holding in her hand.
Electronic cigarette, health risks
The electronic cigarettes they are often promoted as a less harmful alternative to traditional cigarettes and a way to break free from smoking addiction.
But compared to cigarettes, there is less awareness among users of the possible health risks.
