Deemea accelerates clinical research

Collect, standardize and analyze medical images. This is the promise of Deemea. The start-up founded in 2020, and which raised 4 million euros in June, markets a clinical research platform promoting sharing between healthcare establishments.

First, algorithms ensure the quality control of the medical images collected. Then, other AI models carry out the annotation and classification of the data. Finally, everything is analyzed. By standardizing these steps, Deemea wants to avoid interpretation biases.

Data processing and analysis with AI models are done locally at the facility level. Then the results are shared in the cloud. The idea is to conduct the same study across various facilities to have maximum information. A useful solution for phase IV studies when the product is already on the market and it is necessary to provide health authorities with very reliable real-life data.
