Astro Bot, chosen as the game of the year at The Game Awards, was by no means the only polar opposite of 2024.
During the year 2024, more than two hundred games were evaluated in the Muropaket, which is of course only a fraction of all new products.
Therefore, we did not set out to declare which games were the best of the year – our sample would simply be too narrow for such a task. Instead, we went through the reviews we published and selected 20 games that we felt we liked the most and that we recommend you check out.
Not all of the games below are five- or even four-star masterpieces, but each of them offers several successes in its own genre.
The games below are listed in order of release. In our opinion, Palworld, which has been playing with Pokémon all year, was by no means the number one game of 2024, even though we judged it to be quite entertaining when it was fresh.
