Deftones announced new non-alcoholic beer “Tone Zero”

After releasing a dozen different craft beers, Deftones presented their first non-alcoholic beer, which is called “Tone Zero„.

The first beer in the Tone Zero series is a Japanese-style rice lager, developed in collaboration with DrinkSip, a company founded by CraftShack.com founder Julian Yakoo.

The press release states: “The first beer in the ‘Tone Zero’ series is a Japanese rice lager, with a refreshing taste and subtle additions of rice water that add depth to the flavor profile. Whether you’re taking a break from alcohol or embracing an alcohol-free lifestyle, ‘Tone Zero’ is designed to deliver the same ultimate experience that Deftones fans have come to expect.”

This announcement comes just days after they Deftones presented their latest alcoholic beer, “Dia De Los Deftones Mexican Style Lager with Lime“. This beer represents their latest collaboration with Belching Beaver Brewery, and comes just as Deftones prepare to headline their annual Dia De Los Deftones festival at Petco Park in San Diego.

In addition to the festival, Deftones recently announced a North American tour in 2025, where they will be joined by The Mars Volta.

Tone Zero can be ordered online, while Dia De Los Deftones Mexican Style Lager can be found at retailers in California, Arizona and Colorado.
