In Romelu Lukaku’s future there should be Napoli and his favorite coach, Antonio Conte: rumors are becoming more and more insistent regarding an agreement already reached with the blue club for six million per season, with a reduced salary compared to what is foreseen in the contract with Chelsea, who still own his registration. Certainly, in the present and in the past of Big Rom there is no more… nothing. All photos of the Belgian centre-forward with his old teams have suddenly been deleted. On Lukaku’s official Instagram account, there are now only six shots in which the striker is dressed casually, without football references.
Lukaku and the market clue: ready for Napoli
A sign, perhaps, of a new beginning. Lukaku, most likely, has once again made it clear that he wants to give impetus to a new adventure together with the coach who best knew how to exploit his characteristics. The Belgian is raring to go, hoping that Napoli and Chelsea will reach an agreement quickly. He wants to take over from Victor Osimhen and to rejoin the Salento coach he has made it known that he is even ready to reduce his salary. Therefore, a clean slate with all the past pay rises. A drastic decision that certainly did not please the “old” fans of Big Rom.
Big Rom Erases His Past From Instagram

Gone are those with Manchester United, the team with which he breathed the air of great – indeed very great – football. A future that should, or rather could, be tinged with blue very soon.
The disappointment of Inter and Roma supporters
Understandably, fans of Lukaku’s previous Italian teams were disappointed. Starting with those of Inter. “He always spent nice words for Inter and then he ran away, now he has even denied that experience by erasing it from his experiences”, the reflection of a rather disconcerted Nerazzurri fan. “I’m still waiting for him to explain his farewell after the Champions League final”, another comment. Bitterness also in the comments of the Roma fans. “What does this gesture mean? Doesn’t what he shared with us count for anything?” And again: “Eternally inconsistent, one never denies the past”.
