Creamy mushroom soup, which warms us up on cold days and delights the palate with its flavor, comes to your tables with a classic recipe! This soup, enriched with the natural aroma of mushrooms, will be your favorite with its soft texture and intense flavor added by cream. You can easily prepare this delicious soup, which will become an indispensable part of dinner, at home and share it with your loved ones.
MATERIALS
400 grams of mushrooms (thinly sliced)
2 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium sized onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
2 tablespoons of flour
4 cups water or vegetable/chicken broth
1 cup of cream
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 pinch grated nutmeg (optional)
HOW TO MAKE
Heat the butter and olive oil in a medium-sized pot. Add the onion and fry until it turns pink, then add the garlic and fry for another 1-2 minutes.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the pot and cook over high heat until they release their water.
Add the flour to the mushrooms and stir-fry for a few minutes. This will thicken the soup.
Slowly add hot water or vegetable/chicken broth and mix with a whisk to prevent lumps. Let it boil.
After the soup boils, reduce the heat. Add salt, black pepper and optionally grated nutmeg. Then add the cream slowly and mix.
Cook the soup over medium heat for another 5-10 minutes, remove it from the stove when it thickens.
Serve hot. Optionally, you can add freshly ground black pepper, chopped parsley or dill.
