Denying the allegations that e-Pulse was sold to Qatar

A written statement was made on the Ministry’s website regarding the news in some media outlets claiming that e-Pulse was sold to Qatar.

In the statement, it was stated that the e-Nabız Personal Health Record System was designed and developed in line with the aims and objectives of the Ministry of Health and that all its elements belong to the Ministry. It was stated that the number of active users of e-Nabız is 70 million and it is in a safe environment with more than 30 thousand health facilities integrated with 39 different central systems. It was noted that it has become a whole of gigantic communicating information systems.

“The e-Pulse system has not been sold to any country, nor can it be sold to any country without permission from the Ministry of Health, nor can it be used without permission from our Ministry. e-Pulse and similar national projects have brought our country to a point that is envied on a world scale in the field of health informatics.” In the statement, it was stated that this successful atmosphere in the field of health informatics also contributed to the provision of services in the field of health informatics abroad by many Turkish companies using the valuable experiences they gained in Turkey.

In the statement, it was emphasized that it is not possible to sell the personal health data of citizens or disclose them to third parties, and the following was noted:

“The personal health data of our citizens are protected by taking the highest administrative and technical measures in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the relevant legislation. e-Pulse was developed according to the needs of our country and has been included in the Critical Assets list of our Ministry due to the confidentiality and security needs of the data it contains. e-Pulse “Pulse is the source of pride of the Republic of Turkey and all its rights belong to our Ministry.”

In the statement, it was stated that e-Pulse has become the main element of the health system with the role it plays in the diagnosis and treatment process, and it was emphasized that the loss of trust will not be allowed due to false news against this system that citizens use to manage their own health.

In the statement, “We inform the public that we will take all legal action against those who produce and spread ugly and untrue so-called news.” The statement was included.
