Design for water shapes

Water is the element that regenerates the body, from which the beneficial effects on the mind and spirit reverberate, according to a holistic approach. From this profound awareness it is born Wellness Ritual: the concept inaugurated in 2000 by Jockeys which led to the development of shower systems beyond designer taps increasingly articulated and performing. This vision is now made up of a constellation of extremely functional and efficient products, without any mechanistic complacency.

Fantini’s shower systems – a solid international industrial reality and an innovative company for technological and formal research – are placed in a world of virtual and emotional abstraction that opens up the exploration of new possible design horizons.

The research conducted by the company on the topic of the shower radically transforms both the concept and the typological characteristics: from a simple functional technical product the shower has become a complex system of elements and performances which aims to offer an experience of pleasure and daily well-being.

The main expression of this philosophy is AcquafitFantini’s largest shower family – multifunctional and multisensory – with over 130 combinatorial options. In rectangular, square and round versions, with or without light, it is available for ceiling, recessed, semi-recessed, external installation or with wall arm.

Even great designers have made Fantini’s sensitivity and vocation for well-being their own. Like the Belgian designer Vincent Van Duysen who created the tap Flora: tactile, ergonomic and fromindustrial aesthetics imbued with modern sensibility.

«The project materialized organically from my desire to create a timeless collection with a slight nostalgic nod to memory. We paid a lot of attention to the proportions. And the result is a collection that has a human and personal touch. I constantly look for a sort of symbiosis in all my projects. And there is excellent harmony when it comes to working with Fantini.”

The previous series he developed for the brand confirm this. The timeless tap collection Icon – in the two variants Icona Classic (opening) e Deco icon – does not follow trends or fashions.

The recent collaboration with Vincent van Duysen adds to the partnerships with other internationally established designers with whom the company pursues constant research and experimentation. First of all Matteo Thun e Antonio Rodriguezamong other things creators in 2022 of a sophisticated declination of the series Venezia with Murano glass handles made by Come on e Piero Lissonifor some series Aboutwater. In 2018, the latter took care of the renovation of the headquarters in Pella on Lake Orta, a successful integration of the industrial buildings into nature.
