Last year, the emission of harmful substances related to business trips using air transport by technology companies fell to half of the 2019 level, but one or two companies are on the right track to return this indicator to the pre-pandemic level, despite lofty climate goals, according to Travel Smart from his research.
According to the results of the study based on voluntary responses covering 26 companies, only seven have agreed to gradually reduce the amount of business flights, and Alphabet and Apple are especially among the worst performing companies in this field with a decrease of 23% and 31% respectively. .
