In Lohagara of Chittagong, two drug dealers were arrested along with domestically made cholai drug, ganja and domestic weapons.
On Friday (November 15) evening, under the leadership of Lohagara Army Camp Commander Major Muhammad Saeed Hasan, they were arrested from Rubber Dam Hindu Para area in Kalauzan Ward No. 3 of Upazila and Hashir Para area of Ward No. 8 of Amirabad Union.
At that time, 120 liters of Cholaimad, 3 kg and 400 grams of ganja and 7 knives and chopsticks were recovered from the arrested persons.
The arrested are Tisu Das (48) son of Bimul Das of Hindu Para, Kalauzan 3rd Ward of Upazila and Dula Mia (50) son of Nurul Kabir of Hashir Para area of 8th Ward of Amirabad Union.
Lohagara army camp commander Major Muhammad Saeed Hasan told Daily Azadi that two people were arrested along with cholaimad, ganja and domestic weapons on the basis of secret information. At this time, 7 knives and chopsticks were recovered from them. All those arrested are drug dealers in the area.
Lohagara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Arifur Rahman told Daily Azadi that on the basis of secret information, 2 drug dealers including cholaimad, ganja, domestic weapons were arrested in the army operation. Two separate cases are under process in the police station in this incident, they will be sent to the learned court tomorrow.
