Deutsche Motors, an automobile company, announced on the 8th that it signed a four-party business agreement to establish a diagnostic program and develop extended warranty products (EW) for new and used cars and held an agreement ceremony.

This agreement was carried out between four parties: Deutsche Motors, Korea’s leading BMW dealer, SK Speedmate, a comprehensive automobile management service company, Charancha, an integrated mobility platform company, and DT Innovation, a company that provides sustainable solutions for the automobile industry. The four companies participating in the agreement aim to provide a more convenient auto life by improving the convenience of customers using vehicles through the new agreement.

Companies participating in the agreement plan to supplement and improve consumers’ concerns about diagnostic programs and extended warranty products operating in the existing new and used car markets through the infrastructure they own. Additionally, based on this, we plan to launch differentiated products and services that could not be provided before as early as this year.

An official said, “The industry’s attention is focused on the synergy effect that will arise from the meeting between Deutsche Motors, Korea’s top automobile specialist, and SK Speedmate, which has the largest offline maintenance network in Korea.”

In the used car sector, we plan to develop our own online and offline used car diagnostic programs that consumers can trust and provide them through the nationwide SK Speedmate network. This is expected to strengthen ‘trust’, which is considered the biggest challenge in the used car industry. In addition, we plan to launch an extended warranty product that improves the value of used cars and enable continuous vehicle management, and analyze service usage data of various vehicles to create new services and various added values that are essential for customers.

In the mid- to long-term, the companies that signed the agreement will create a new paradigm in the used car market, such as establishing a used car history management system and verification ecosystem using AI and Web3-based blockchain technology to increase the reliability of the market itself.

Deutsche Motors CEO Kwon Hyuk-min said, “This four-party agreement will be an important milestone in maximizing customer convenience in the domestic automobile market and establishing a trustworthy used car ecosystem.” He added, “We will work together with partners in each specialized field to ensure customer satisfaction. “We aim to provide innovative services that can meet a variety of needs, and in particular, we plan to further strengthen the used car history management and verification system by actively introducing artificial intelligence and Web 3 technology.” He added, “We will continue to do our best to create an environment where customers can purchase and use vehicles with greater peace of mind through close cooperation with each company.”

“Through this agreement, we are pleased to be able to strengthen our expertise in new and used car warranty services and provide greater trust and value to our customers,” said Choo In-in, CEO of SK Speedmate. “We will continue to provide differentiated car management services based on our differentiated car management services.” “We will create a more convenient customer experience,” he said.

Meanwhile, Deutsche Motors, a BMW dealer with 12 showrooms and 14 service networks nationwide, is leading the domestic imported car market by winning global first place in customer satisfaction and electric vehicle sales.
