Producer and wife of two-time Olympic figure skating champion Evgeni Plushenko, Yana Rudkovskaya, expressed her opinion about Russian champion Vladislav Dikidzhi.
“In my opinion, Dikiji is the future of world figure skating. If anyone should go from Russia to international competitions, it is, of course, him. It is possible that he is the second person to do a quadruple axel at competitions,” TASS quotes Rudkovskaya.
The skater won the Russian Championship 2025, although after the short program he was in sixth place. In the free program, he performed four quadruple jumps cleanly. In total, Dikiji scored 297.10 points. After that, he demonstrated how he performed a quadruple axel.
