In protest. Saifullahil Azam said, ‘The committee for appointment/promotion/selection grade of BCS (Family Planning) cadre officers consists of 5 members. The secretary of health education and family welfare department is the chairman of the said committee. Other members of the committee are – Director General, Directorate of Family Planning, a representative of the Ministry of Finance, a representative of the Ministry of Public Administration and the Joint Secretary of the concerned Ministry/Department serving as Member Secretary. BCS (Family Planning) (General) Cadre Officers have been promoted by the Committee in light of the rules on the basis of seniority. Promoted deputy directors have also been posted from the ministry. Recently promoted 20-25 deputy directors on 07 October 2024 AD. If a date comes to my office and behaves rudely, I ask them to speak politely.’
