Over the years, the App Store has seen many more or less successful games featuring Disney movie and series characters. In July of this year, another such production was announced – Disney Pixel RPG. Now it has been announced that its premiere will take place in October.
Disney Pixel RPG, as the name suggests, will be an RPG game in a retro style, clearly drawing inspiration from Japanese classics from the eighties and nineties. Its action will take us to a virtual world in which, as a result of a malware invasion, various Disney games have begun to intertwine and merge with each other, causing chaos. The player will be able to create their own character and set off on a journey with cartoon characters to restore balance. The essence of the game is to be battles with opponents. According to the creators, the combat system is to offer some strategic depth on the one hand, and on the other, maintain a relatively fast pace of the game and be friendly to players who have no experience with this genre. Everything also indicates that collecting heroes from which we will be able to build our team will play an important role.
Disney Pixel RPG will be a freemium game, available for free download, but offering optional micropayments. Its iOS premiere is scheduled for October 7. However, it looks like it will only be available in a dozen or so selected countries that day (Poland will most likely not be on the list), and then it will gradually be made available in other regions.
