DNS CEO Alekseev Warns Bakalchuk of Risk of Complete Loss of Wildberries

Let us recall that Wildberries and the outdoor advertising operator Russ Group announced their merger on June 18. It is assumed that Tatyana Bakalchuk will become the CEO of the combined group of companies, and the head of the Russ Group, Robert Mirzoyan, will be the chief executive officer.

Alekseev noted that, according to Forbes estimates, Bakalchuk’s fortune was $7.2 billion in February 2024. He believes that the company would be valued at least $10 billion upon its IPO.

“If all this happens, or rather what remains happens, then Tatyana Bakalchuk will not only give away 35% of the 10-billion (in $!) business for 7 million rubles, but she may also completely lose control over WB,” he said.

According to him, the new company was registered at the legal address of the Russ group. Russ’ share in RVB LLC is 35%, which is 1.7% more than one third.

“These are strong positions in corporate wars, and it will be difficult to remove Robert Mirzoyan…”, says the businessman.

He also doesn’t understand what the merger with Russ could give WB. 27 subsidiary legal entities have already been transferred to OOO Stinn from OOO Wildberries – these are organizations “in whose name WB’s logistics and some structural divisions are registered.” This is the basis of WB’s business, and Wildberries, according to him, will only retain the rights to the trademarks and the website.

Earlier we wrote that Tatyana Bakalchuk announced new appointments in the combined company Wildberries and Russ. These are PR director, head of the department of communications with the media industry and others.
