For thousands of years, people have lived here, where the city is located today, and especially in the old town on the peninsula you will find the beautiful buildings or the ruins of them as evidence of the city’s long history. A couple of newer attractions have been added to the harbor promenade. One can be listened to throughout the day, where a very special instrument, apparently the first of its kind in the world, produces music with the help of the sea. The second attraction depends on the light, but it is only when the sun goes down that you get the full experience.
