According to a press release from the DGA, the police, under the coordination of the case prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Brașov Court, caught red-handed a doctor from a hospital in the municipality of Brașov after he received from a patient the sum of 200 lei of a bribe for the performance of a medical act within his duties.
In this case, investigations are being carried out under the aspect of committing the crimes of bribery and bribery against two medical personnel who are suspected of having been given sums of money or other goods for the performance of the medical act.
DGA police officers carry out five home searches, three of which at the hospital where the doctor is employed and two at the homes of people without special status in the area of Sânpetru, in Brașov county.
