Documentary may have revealed true identity of Bitcoin founder –

HBO has revealed who Satoshi Nakamoto, the man behind the cryptocurrency, really is.

On Tuesday, the HBO documentary Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery debuted, in which HBO named the real person behind Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto.

Award-winning filmmaker Cullen Hoback’s doc, after a comprehensive study of the available evidence, concluded that Nakamoto was actually Peter Todd, a Canadian developer and blockchain programmer. The only catch is that Todd himself finds the assumption completely absurd.

Todd said MarketWatchin his statement to

The mystery surrounding Satoshi’s identity has always been an integral part of Bitcoin’s history. Over the years, several people have claimed to be the founders of cryptocurrency. Incidentally, the documentary not only deals with the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, but also with the integration of cryptocurrencies into the global financial system, as well as with the possibilities inherent in this, so it can be especially exciting for those interested in the topic; the On the surface of Max can now be viewed.
