Dodge and Drop Top Customs are working on a new convertible based on the all-electric Charger Daytona.
Drop Top Customs isn’t revealing much for now, but it did confirm that its design team is working with Dodge to create an “iconic convertible conversion” for the electric car. The company adds that the convertible will be introduced around the same time that deliveries of the standard car begin.
The first pictures have already been published and they show a vehicle with two doors and a soft folding roof.
It is also known that the conversion itself will cost $23,999.
The Charger Daytona R/T normally starts at a price of $59,595 and has four-wheel drive, two engines with a total of 340 kW/462 hp and 547 Nm, a 100.5 kWh battery and a range of up to 510 km. For $73,190, you get the more powerful Charger Daytona Scat Pack, which has 470 kW/637 hp and 849 Nm of torque, with a range of up to 418 km.
