BANJALUKA – President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that Srpska welcomes the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the EU and Serbia on strategic partnership on sustainable raw materials, battery production chains and electric vehicles, stressing that it is one of the most significant steps forward for the further progress and development of Serbia.

“This is certainly one of the strategic projects that President Aleksandar Vučić fought for, and the results of which will be very visible, and which will mean a lot for the further progress and financial prosperity of Serbia. It also means the arrival of new investments, a better life for the people of Serbia and a higher standard.”said Dodik for Srna when asked to comment on the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Serbia and the EU.
He said that the Republika Srpska is also ready and interested in participating in these activities with Serbia, and that today’s step forward and an even better and safer future for Serbia will mean a lot for Serbia as well, because it is the same region.
“Just like Serbia, the Republika Srpska is ready to follow the same path and with the same goal, which leads to only one thing – economic prosperity and development, the opening of new factories, and most importantly, the creation of new jobs and the employment of people, which guarantees their survival in Srpska”emphasized Dodik.
He reminded that previous research has shown that Srpska is rich in significant amounts of mineral resources, which are in great demand in EU countries and around the world, and that their mining is a great development opportunity and possibility for the further development of the Republic and emphasized that Srpska will continue to work on their research because it is about raw materials of enormous value that will mean further progress and development of the Republic of Srpska.
“We will certainly join our potentials to the efforts of Serbia and our other friends and partners in Europe and the world, leading a responsible policy, primarily in the interest of Serbia and our residents, primarily taking into account environmental issues and health protection issues, where the profession will be fully respected and Included”, President Dodik concluded.
