Dolls are spinning for the Czechs. The Samsung Galaxy S25 series will become uncomfortably expensive

The Galaxy S25 series is approaching by leaps and bounds and we are less than two weeks away from its premiere. We will see four phones and we already know almost everything about them, both in terms of design and specifications. The last piece of the puzzle is the prices, for which the informants do not completely agree on whether they will be the same or higher than the previous series. Unfortunately, it currently looks like we will have to pay extra.

How much will the phones from the Galaxy S25 series cost?

Just a few weeks ago, the alleged European prices of the Galaxy S25 series were leaked online, and they indicated that they would remain at the same level as the previous generation. Which of course is good news. However, the current information says exactly the opposite, and a price leak from one European store shows that we may end up paying more. And not a little.

The origin of these prices, i.e. which European country they come from, is unfortunately unknown, but the prospects are not exactly twice as good. For example, the top model Galaxy S25 Ultra with 16 GB + 1 TB memory, i.e. the very highest configuration, costs 1,930 euros, or roughly 48,500 crowns, according to this leak. The current S24 Ultra with the same memory cost 44,499 crowns at the time of the premiere.

Return to the past

When the Galaxy S24 series arrived a year ago, Samsung pleasantly discounted it compared to the previous Galaxy S23 series. If the price increase is confirmed, it will partly be a return to the prices of this series from 2023. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ models would also be significantly more expensive, and we would generally pay an extra 100 euros (2,500 crowns) or more.

The premiere is around the corner

We’ll see what prices Samsung ends up putting on their new phones and hopefully they won’t really raise them as much as the latest leak suggests. The Galaxy S25 series will arrive on January 22, 2025, and in addition to the traditional trio of Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra models, the Slim specification will also arrive. Unfortunately, no price increase has appeared for her for the time being.
