“What have we done for democracy? I took a bullet for democracy,” Donald Trump told his supporters at the first campaign rally after he was shot, reports SkyNews.

“I am in front of you only by the grace of Almighty God. This is true. (…) What have we done for democracy? We took a bullet for democracy,” Trump said.

“They don’t know who their candidate is. We don’t know who their candidate is,” Trump added.

The ear wound suffered by Donald Trump, after shots were fired at him at a campaign rally a week ago, is healing, former White House physician Ronny Jackson announced.
