(Health Korea News / Yu Ji-in) Dong-A Pharmaceutical has aired its first commercial for D-Panthenol ointment, a children’s skin ointment.
This advertisement was planned to strengthen D-Panthenol brand awareness and inform consumers of the product’s special features. The video starts with the key message, ‘Our Baby Deep Care, D-Panthenol’ and shows that it can be used for various skin conditions such as diaper rash, wounds, and eczema.
Since then, it has emphasized the safety of its ingredients by being composed of 5-free additives (steroids, preservatives, antibiotics, fragrances, and colorings), and shows various product features such as improved spreadability with shea butter and convenient use with a one-touch cap.
Dong-A Pharmaceutical plans to strengthen its communication with consumers based on the new D-Panthenol advertisement. The advertisement can be viewed on digital media such as YouTube and Instagram.
D-Panthenol Ointment is a dermatitis and rash auxiliary treatment ointment from Dong-A Pharmaceutical that was first released in 2021. The main ingredient, dexpanthenol, is a component of coenzymes that play an important role in cells and metabolism, and can help regenerate and recover damaged skin tissue. The product is an over-the-counter drug that can be purchased at a nearby pharmacy.
A Dong-A Pharmaceutical official said, “This new advertisement will help strengthen brand awareness by informing consumers of the special features of D-Panthenol ointment.” He added, “D-Panthenol ointment, which contains dexpanthenol as its main ingredient, does not contain steroids, preservatives, antibiotics, fragrances, or coloring agents, so it can be used by people of all ages, from the sensitive skin of newborns to adult skin.”
Meanwhile, Dong-A Pharmaceutical is expanding its brand lineup by recently releasing a new product in its first lineup of D-Panthenol ointment, the insect bite ointment ‘Difanbug Gel’.
