(Health Korea News / Yoo Ji-in) On the 24th, Dong-A Socio Group conducted a tour of Dong-A ST Songdo Campus and bio lab for Sangju High School science-focused students.
Through this field trip, 43 students from Sangju High School’s science intensive class toured Dong-A ST’s research lab and pharmaceutical production site in person, improving their overall understanding of the new drug development process and the pharmaceutical bio industry.
Through meetings with current researchers, students heard vivid stories from industrial sites and had the opportunity to directly experience the pharmaceutical development and production process.
Donga Socio Group has been operating a field trip program in cooperation with Sangju High School since 2021. The field trip program was designed to help students gain exposure to the latest research trends in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology field and to help them shape their career paths based on this.
An official from Dong-A Socio Group said, “We hope that this field trip program will help students in Sang High School science intensive classes improve their scientific knowledge and make career decisions.” He added, “Dong-A Socio Group will continue to engage in social contribution activities that benefit the local community.” “We will become a company that fulfills its responsibilities,” he said.
