The Dongfeng Box It is a compact city car, approximately 4 metres long, with plenty of on-board technology and shapes designed to maximise interior space for front and rear passengers.
It will debut in Italy at the 2024 Turin Motor Show, where it can be seen from 13 to 15 September, together with other cars from the Group.
A spacious utility vehicle
The Dongfeng Box is one of the most important innovations for the Chinese Group, among the four that produce, sell and export more cars in the Eastern country. It is a small small car electric car 4.03 meters long, 1.81 meters wide and 1.57 meters high and is the first model built on the platform Dongfeng Quantum Architecture S3.
Looking at it from the outside it is immediately clear how the bodywork shapes, linear in proportions but rather rounded in lines, with headlights on two levels even with LED matrix, contrasting roof and a generally rather modern look, have been designed to maximize interior space.

The passenger compartment of the Dongfeng Box, in fact, as we had already anticipated, in addition to being covered in diamond-patterned leather, has been designed with rounded but simple shapes and equipped with some technologies that are usually found on cars in higher segments.
Among these, for example, are ambient lighting 32 colors and a large 12.8-inch central touchscreen, combined with a navigation system ricarica wireless ultraveloce da 50W.
But that’s not all. In fact, among the accessories there is also the new Intelligent Imaging system, which evolves the concept of 360-degree cameras to provide the driver with 540-degree panoramic images.

Finally, speaking of mechanics, the new Chinese small car is equipped with an electric motor capable of generating up to 70 kW of power and 160 Nm of torque, for a maximum speed of 140km/h.
The whole thing is powered by a drums with a capacity not yet specified by the manufacturer but capable of guaranteeing an autonomy between 330 and 430 km and already compatible with the technology V2L.
