(Health Korea News / Lee Chang-yong) Dongkook Pharmaceutical announced on the 12th that it has launched three types of oral device line ‘Dentrix Sonic’ from its total functional oral care brand ‘Dentrix.’
Dentrix Sonic is a product that helps prevent various oral problems such as tartar, bad breath, and gum disease by removing plaque accumulated in blind spots of the mouth that are difficult to clean with just a brush, and can cause this. The new products are two types of pulsating water pressure oral cleaners (Sonic Pulse Control Shot, Massage Shot) and one type of electric toothbrush (Sonic Spin).
‘Dentrix SonicPulse ControlShot’ is suitable for beginners who find it difficult to use oral irrigators as it has a ‘Control Shot Mode’ that prevents water from splashing or filling the mouth during use. It is equipped with a total of four modes including 1,600 pulses of water pressure per minute and Control Shot mode, including Sensitive, Normal, and Custom, so you can precisely remove plaque from every corner of the mouth at the desired intensity. It has been confirmed in clinical tests that plaque is removed up to 171.4% more effectively with just one Control Shot compared to using a toothbrush alone.
‘Dentrix Sonic Pulse Massage Shot’ is a product for middle-aged and older people who need gum health management. It has four modes including soft, normal, and custom that can adjust the intensity, including the massage shot mode that helps care for weakened gums. The pulsating water pressure of 1,600 times per minute cleanly removes foreign substances between teeth. The ‘Massage Shot Mode’ with pulse intervals and water pressure suitable for weakened gums cares for the gums more healthily. The clinical test results showed that when a regular toothbrush and massage shot were used together, the gingival index (gum inflammation) was reduced by an average of 48.7% more than when a regular toothbrush was used alone, showing an effect in improving gum health.
The electric toothbrush ‘Dentrix Sonicspin’ provides high cleaning power with the high-speed cleaning motion of the circular toothbrush bristles that rotate left and right 6,000 times per minute. The soft toothbrush bristles, made in two patterns (circular, pinwheel) to reach the corners of the teeth, wrap around each tooth and rotate to remove plaque. It shows up to 133.3% higher plaque removal effect than a regular toothbrush, and helps you develop proper brushing habits with the 2-minute timer that tells you the optimal brushing time and the 30-second interval position change alarm function.
