Dongseo Food (CEO Gwang-su Kim) announced on the 19th that on the 18th, Dongseo Food executives and employees carried out a volunteer activity of ‘making cool vegetable salad’ for the vulnerable groups during heat waves.

This volunteer activity was designed to make and deliver cool Hwachae to neighbors in blind spots of welfare as the summer heat approaches, and to check on their health and well-being. On this day, Dongseo Food employees made 200 servings of summer Hwachae made with cool and healthy seasonal fruits, and visited the Donui-dong Jjokbang Counseling Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul to deliver them to elderly people living alone who were having a hard time due to the heat wave.

Dongseo Foods’ Han Ji-yeon volunteer activity manager said, “I hope that the cool fruit salad we delivered today will help the elderly who live alone, who are vulnerable to the heat, to have a healthy summer,” and “We plan to continue to carry out meaningful and diverse volunteer activities with our employees in the future.”

Meanwhile, Dongseo Foods, in addition to regular employee participation volunteer activities every month, operates a donation platform so that employees can easily participate in donations and carries out various sharing activities with employees, such as donating together through matching grants.
