Many women HATE online dating and find the idea of meeting a man through an app completely unnatural.
If technology isn’t your thing, you’re not a good photographer, or you prefer to trust your instincts about potential partners, Camilla Virginia’s book The Offline Dating Method: How to Attract a Great Guy in the Real World will come in handy.

Through training, courses and workshops, Kamil has helped women in over 100 countries learn how to attract men – and enjoy life more in general.
Here is a sample of the practical advice she gives in her book.
One of the things that women struggle with the most when meeting a man is how to start a conversation.
When I was filming I would like to meetthe dating show I hosted for the BBC, I had high hopes for the technique of “buying a guy.” This involved going somewhere together, like a bar or a crowded place, drinking a lot of alcohol, and me teaching real-life flirting tips.

For most women, the hardest part was chatting with a stranger.
Here’s Kamila’s take on how to do it.
Choose the approach that suits you best and that fits your situation.
Pull your leg
Maybe put your umbrella over someone else if you’re standing in the rain, maybe hold a door open, or pick up something someone dropped.

You can never go wrong with a random act of kindness.
Give a compliment
“Nice watch/shirt/socks/bag”
“Great shirt. Where did you get it?’
It’s a non-threatening way to start a conversation that won’t offend anyone.
Loose docking

When you hear an interesting conversation in public, feel free to join in – as long as you stay positive. Even better, interesting and fun.
Give the other person space and see if they engage you.
Spill some knowledge
Suggest a great food order if you’re standing next to an attractive man at your local takeaway who just asked the waiter “What’s good here?”.

See a guy struggling to do something on his phone? Provide assistance.
Share a quick joke
You’re on public transport and something happens and everyone who witnessed it is looking at each other like, “Did anyone else just see that?”.
Maintain eye contact with the person you want to talk to and say it out loud. “Did you just see that?”

Spread the word
Drinking coffee and sitting near someone sweet? Scroll through the news and find an item that most people would know about.
Then say something to yourself out loud to that effect, for example, “They just found a missing hiker, alive!”
Turn to the person next to you and say: “Excuse me! But isn’t that very good?’

Try Hello
This approach is just one word and four quick steps: catch the person’s eye, smile at them, say “Hi” and then go back to doing whatever you were doing.
It’s a flashing green light for him to approach you.

Ask a question
‘What are you drinking?’
„Margarita.“
“Oh, is he okay?”

At a charity event: “What is your connection to the cause”
At the party: “How do you know the birthday boy?”
Ask them to take your photo

It’s an oldie but a goodie – plus it forces him to look at you.
Make a request
On the bus: “Can you tell me the next stop?”
At the bar: “Could you ask the bartender for a glass of water, please?”

Be creative!
Smile at random people, give a compliment, or make a funny observation out loud to no one in particular but within range of the person you like.
