Dreame X50 Ultra Complete in the starting blocks: robot vacuum cleaner reaches new levels of cleanliness

CES 2025

Dreame introduced new cleaning technologies at CES 2025. Including the new Dreame X50 Ultra Complete, which climbs smaller steps without help.

Dreame presented four new technologies at CES 2025 that the manufacturer says will shape the future of household cleaning. These include the ProLeap system for overcoming obstacles, VersaLift navigation for low furniture, a bionic robot arm and a multi-mop exchange station for hygienic floor cleaning. Two of these new technologies are set to debut in the upcoming X50 series.

Effective cleaning: Dreame X50 Ultra Complete with ProLeap system and VersaLift navigation

The ProLeap system is intended to make it easier for the robot vacuum cleaner to cross obstacles such as doorsteps or low steps. This technology allows the robot to be raised up to 6 cm. This means that even difficult areas such as bathrooms and balconies can be easily reached. The ProLeap system was presented for the first time at IFA 2024, and it is now set to launch on the market with the Dreame X50 Ultra Complete.

Thanks to VersaLift navigation, navigation and cleaning under low pieces of furniture should also become more precise. An adjustable DToF sensor rises to scan the environment and lowers to 3.5 inches to give the Dreame X50 Ultra Complete access to tight areas under low furniture. An integrated laser distance sensor should also ensure more precise navigation.

More new technologies

Bionic robot arm

They are particularly proud of the bionic multi-joint robot arm, which was designed for demanding cleaning tasks. The arm has four joints that allow a reach of up to 30 cm. According to the manufacturer, it can pick up items such as shoes or toys weighing up to 400 g, making the cleaning process easier. Complex cleaning tasks are to be carried out automatically using a combination of AI-controlled object recognition and an integrated RGB camera.

Multi-mop exchange station: hygienic floor care

To avoid cross-contamination while mopping, Dreame has also developed a multi-mop exchange station. This station holds up to three pairs of mops, which are automatically changed during the cleaning process. This ensures that clean mops are used for each room.

According to the manufacturer, the various mops are specifically designed for different types of dirt, so that both grease stains and general dirt can be effectively removed.

The manufacturer has not yet revealed details about the pricing of the Dreame X50 Ultra Complete. Anyone interested can visit the market launch on January 15th Manufacturer website However, you can secure an early bird discount of 100 euros.
