A group game hunt in the Austrian Styria region ended for a 41-year-old hunter in the hospital with a shot in the stomach and legs. According to the Kronen Zeitung, the incident happened this morning in the Höflach area of ​​Feldbach. The 69-year-old hunter aimed and fired a shot from a distance of about 20 meters in order to save the animal from its suffering, and parts of the shotgun also hit his 41-year-old colleague in the hip, thighs and upper abdomen. The hunters immediately provided first aid to the victim, and he was then transported by ambulance to the hospital in Feldbach.

He was treated at an outpatient clinic and was able to leave the hospital, and the 69-year-old “shooter” will be charged by the police for causing serious bodily injury due to negligence.
