During the identity check, the 39-year-old man presented not only the required identity card, but also a glass for smoking meth and other items from drug-related crime to the police officers from the Nitrian emergency motorized unit. The Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Nitra informed about it.

The police patrol observed two persons on Svetla Street, one of them resembled the person wanted. The police decided to check the couple. One of the individuals was acting nervous, distracted and showed physical signs of taking narcotic and psychotropic substances, with dilated pupils, police confirmed.

The man pulled out a smoking glass while looking for his ID card. He told the police that he was using it to smoke meth, which he is a user of. He then stated that he also had one plastic bag containing a pink crystalline substance and two glass pipes for smoking meth.

The police officers restricted his personal freedom and further procedural actions were taken with him. A criminal prosecution was initiated in the matter for drug-related criminal activity.
