Yerlikaya stated that 2 million 823 thousand 859 vehicles were inspected by the Police and Gendarmerie traffic teams between 26 September and 3 October and shared the following information:

Yerlikaya noted that inspections for both drivers and pedestrians will continue at schools, pedestrian crossings and intersections regarding “Pedestrian Priority in Traffic” in order to minimize pedestrian accidents and raise social awareness against pedestrians.
