Actor Eva Soivio says that last spring he died. His heart stopped in the middle of a performance at the Group Theatre.
Eeva was lucky on the way: the theater staff had just received first aid training the day before, and two women with CPR skills were found in the audience. Eeva got help quickly. After three and a half minutes, the heart restarted.
The event had a strong effect on Eve.

– Before that I didn’t think much about death, now I’ve thought about it a lot.

– I am grateful that I was able to come and tell you that there is nothing scary or horrible about death. At least my own experience was the greatest peace and tranquility.
You don’t have to look for happiness
Now Eeva has a pacemaker and feels balanced and calm with herself, her family and her whole life.
– The cardiac arrest made me realize that happiness is in moments, and it’s not worth going looking for it.
Still, Eeva says she is the same person as before.
– I get annoyed by many things. I get most stressed from work.
Eeva has been a freelancer for a few years.
– The life of a Free actor is often uncertain and tests one’s self-esteem. Fortunately, I have been able to work with great artists and a lot of things that come from myself.
He is currently writing his first book.
– I still sometimes wake up at four in the morning thinking about the worst scenarios.
