We talk to Kati Kusmin, head of EIS, and find out from her how the government’s planned cuts affect EIS, what she recommends to do to grow the Estonian economy, and which export markets will be in focus in 2025.

The uncertainty of Estonian consumers continues to be high. How does such an uncertain situation affect the financial behavior of Estonian people, which financial products are currently popular and how does a major bank use artificial intelligence in its work? We are looking for an answer to these questions together with SEB Bank’s marketing manager Silver Vohu.

With Margit Toodu, the manager of Lottemaa, we talk about why vacations in Estonia have become so expensive, how many Latvian tourists visit Lottemaa, and what the holidaymakers’ consumer behavior is like this summer.

The morning program is conducted by host Hando Sinisalu and news editor Joonas-Hendrik Mägi

The program day continues with four programs:

10:00-11:00 “Hot seat”. The guest this time is 20-year-old entrepreneur Robin Pass, who has been running his creative agency Social Buzz for over two years. The agency offers advertising and marketing to other companies, especially on TikTok. One of Estonia’s best TikTok experts talks about company and people management, politics, economy and, of course, TikTok. The presenter is Stiine Reintam.

12:00-13:00 “Pwc management level”. The show will discuss why key positions could be filled on a new basis and based on what attitudes the person has. Merili Vares, head of PwC’s ESG services, also talks about which requirements come from the reporting directive and standards.

13.00-14.00 “Business and technology”. In the program “Business and Technology” we talk about the impact of ICT regulations on companies. One of the main keywords is Estonia’s new information security standard, also known by the abbreviation E-ITS.

Its clients include organizations of very different sizes and with different IT uses. Also, they have built their technical solutions at different times and in different ways. Their IT needs are actually quite different as well. How to apply the standard in these conditions? For whom is it mandatory and when is it reasonable to apply the information security standard voluntarily? The show is hosted by Indrek Kald.

A rerun of the sixth of May is on the air.

15:00-16:00 “Lavajutud”. In the program, you will first hear Martti Talgre talking about how to build a crisis-proof company. Talgre spoke in depth about the philosophy of taking risks and how conflicts can move a company forward.

In the second half of the program, you will have the opportunity to listen to Kaarel Kotkas, who talks about how to make bold decisions and lead in difficult times. The presentations were recorded at the Pärnu Management Conference held this May. The presentations are moderated by Jana Palm and Meelis Mandel. The presenter is Joonas-Hendrik Mägi
