Ahmet al-Shara, known as ‘Colani’, the leader of the terrorist organization that took over the power in Syria, made a statement about the election calendar for the first time.
In his interview with the Arab press, Colani stated that it could take up to three years to prepare a new constitution and radical changes could take 1 year, and that it could take up to 4 years to hold the first legitimate elections.
‘SANCTIONS’ DEMAND FOR THE USA
Shara also touched upon Russian military bases in Syria and stated that he shares strategic interests with Russia. Regarding US President-elect Donald Trump, Shara said that he hopes the Trump administration will lift the sanctions imposed on Syria.
