Electricity charging on the Galp network exceeds 1 million by October and exceeds the total for 2023 – Energy

The number of electric vehicle charges on the Galp network exceeded one million by October, surpassing the total recorded in 2023, with the company estimating 25% growth this year, it was announced this Thursday.

“This interim result confirms 2024 as the best year ever for this operation and projects global annual growth of around 25%,” Galp said in a statement.

The company highlighted that this growth reflects “the growth of the vehicle fleet with hybrid and electric propulsion, but also the expansion of the electric charging network operated by Galp, the largest in the country, with more than 5,500 points installed”.
