In particular, we are talking about the historical center of the city. Light appeared in the area of the Capitol building. At the same time, it sometimes happens that there is already electricity on one side of the street, but not on the other. “On our side of the street there is still no light. On the opposite side, the supply was restored just recently,” said Milena, who works in one of the shops in the center of Havana.

At the same time, a significant part of the capital, including the Miramar district, where the embassy of Russia and most other countries is located, continues to remain without electricity.

A massive power outage occurred in Cuba on Friday, October 18. Authorities said the cause was an accident at one of the power plants. Work continues to restore power supply.
