The cold arrived well in advance in Italy and beyond. Eleonora Abbagnato and Federico Balzaretti escape the cold by flying to the Maldives with their entire extended family. The 46-year-old and her 42-year-old husband enjoy time with their two children Julia, who will turn 13 on January 24, and Gabriel, who will turn 10 on January 3. Not only that, with them there is also Ginevra Vittoria, the daughter that the former footballer had with his ex-partner Jessica Gasparin in 2008. However, the eldest, Lucrezia, born in 2006, is missing from the shots shared on Instagram in the Stories, perhaps still abroad taken from studies.
These are carefree days, lived intensely on the island of the Indian Ocean atoll. It’s a pre-Christmas trip that amuses the étoile and the rest of the group a lot. Eleonora lets loose in the resort equipped with every comfort and luxury. Regenerating baths, snorkelling, romantic evenings, without ever forgetting training, a bit of healthy yoga in the morning and relaxation.
Abbagnato and Balzaretti are increasingly close, they have been married since 13 June 2011. When the dancer met him, she also embraced her first daughters with great warmth.

The mother exists, but I was the one who raised herthey are two special girls. I see the love between them and that is the most beautiful thing. I fell in love with Federico and his way of behaving with his daughters, who were so young. I immediately understood that these two jewels were fundamental for him and I raised them as if they were mine.”
