ElevenLabs has released a low-latency text-to-speech model called Turbo 2.5 that currently works with 32 languages. announcedThe update adds support for Vietnamese, Hungarian, and Norwegian. Turkish support is already available.
With the new Turbo 2.5, third parties can create conversational agents powered by major language models, integrate them into hardware like smart glasses that can read text, or use them in video games to bring characters to life.
Turbo 2.5 is 3x faster in Hindi, French, Spanish, Mandarin, and 27 other languages, and 25% faster in English. To start using the Turbo 2.5 API in products and services, developers can go to the ElevenLabs API page, and businesses can get bulk access by contacting sales.
Earlier this month, ElevenLab also launched its Voice Isolator API for third-party developers to use. As the name suggests, this tool uses AI to remove background noise from audio clips, leaving you with clear dialogue.
