Elon Musk wants to give (and already gives) Trump voters a million dollars every day

The event took place in Harrisburg (Pennsylvania) and was organized by America PAC, which is actually the political division of Musk’s companies. Already here, Musk handed over the money to one of the participants and then to another on Sunday at the event in Pittsburgh. The election is on November 5th, so Musk intends to give away 17 million.

Musk’s condition is that they must be registered voters who live in one of the seven so-called swing states. These are the states where the victory of neither of the candidates is regularly uncertain, and it depends on them who will become the new president. These are Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Another condition is to sign his petition, which reads: “The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. By signing below, I pledge to support the First and Second Amendments.” Only one will receive the million dollars each day, but for signing the petition, Musk will give $100 to every registered voter.

However, Musk may be breaking the law. The governor of Pennsylvania (for the Democratic Party) called on the police to investigate his promise to give money to voters.

“It is a federal crime to pay people with the intent to induce or reward them to vote or register, which is a felony punishable by jail time. The ban doesn’t just apply to cash spending, but also to anything of monetary value, such as alcohol or lottery tickets, according to the Justice Department’s electoral crime manual.’

Elon Musk has already given $75 million to Donald Trump’s America PAC campaign. In addition to him, the Winklevoss brothers also contributed (they are behind the creation of Facebook, which they argued with Mark Zuckerberg for a long time) or the well-known investor and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel.
